LEOLink EB01 is an embedded lighting controller for supported KarbonCobra factory configurations. Installed inside the luminaire and powered through its pre-wired connection, EB01 uses a DALI D4i driver interface for remote lighting control, energy metering and asset monitoring.

For municipal lighting teams, utilities and project engineers, specify the compatible KarbonCobra model, driver and factory installation before ordering. EB01 is not a field-installed external node. For an external NEMA retrofit, review LEOLink NB01-Plus and the luminaire’s wired receptacle, 0–10V driver and voltage requirements.

KarbonCobra Integration

Embedded installation: EB01 is factory-installed inside supported KarbonCobra luminaires. Confirm the model and approved configuration with LEOTEK; the series name alone does not establish compatibility.
Electrical interface: 110–480V operating range through the fixture’s internal wiring; DALI D4i driver interface. Surge protection uses the luminaire driver’s protection.
External-node alternative: LEOLink NB01-Plus is a separate field-installed NEMA node requiring a wired 7-pin controls-ready receptacle and 0–10V driver. ES1 does not support these LEOLink nodes.

Control & Monitoring

Connectivity: LTE NB-IoT / CAT-M1 (LTE-M) communication using MQTT over TLS 1.3. Confirm network coverage and the selected connectivity configuration.
Operational functions: Remote dimming, scheduling, fault reporting and energy metering. The technical data sheet specifies 0.5% metering accuracy and a supercapacitor backup of at least 15 seconds.
Asset sensing: Light and tilt sensing support monitoring. GPS/GNSS is an option; confirm the ordered configuration before relying on positioning functions.
System requirements: Each controller requires a RenAI CMS subscription (RXX) and network data plan (DXX). R00 / D00 requires prior LEOTEK approval.

Environmental ratings: The June 2026 ILS specification identifies an IP66 sealed module. The technical data sheet lists −40°C to +77°C operation and 0–95% non-condensing humidity. Confirm the complete luminaire assembly rating for the installation.
Physical data: Technical data sheet dimensions are 80.88 mm × 46 mm, with a listed weight of 0.3 kg (0.66 lb). Verify the required installation envelope in the factory configuration.
Controller warranty: The ILS ordering code EB0110 specifies an EB01 controller with a 10-year warranty. Review the current warranty terms and the separate luminaire warranty.
