In 1999, LEOTEK made history by launching the first LED traffic signal, marking a significant innovation in traffic management technology.
In 2007, Leotek introduced the first LED street light, pioneering energy-efficient illumination in public spaces.
In 2010, Leotek introduced the industry's first cobra-head LED street light, leading the way in advanced roadway lighting solutions.
In 2013, Los Angeles completed the world's largest LED street light retrofit, selecting Leotek's GreenCobra series, which is estimated to save the city 63% on costs.

In 2020, Leotek was awarded a patent for Edge Lite technology and introduced the new ComfortGuide area light, designed for low-glare applications.
In 2021, Leotek was awarded a patent for the ComfortView light engine and developed the ComfortView™ streetlight, specifically designed for low-glare pedestrian applications.
In 2022, Leotek was recognized as a dual Edison Awards winner for two innovations in the "Critical Human Infrastructure" category, highlighting new technology development.
