From Ants to Sustainability: Professor Chung-Chi Lin’s Journey in Ecological Decoding

“Dr. Ant” Professor Chung-Chi Lin, a distinguished professor in the Department of Biology at National Changhua University of Education, has transformed ant ecological research into environmental governance applications. Through collaboration with LEOTEK, he conducted spectral behavior experiments revealing the sensitivity of Technomyrmex albipes (White-Footed Ants) to blue light, which led to the birth of ECOridge ecological lighting technology.
